While there is no substitute to knowing and understanding both The Point Rules and The Point Bylaws, included below are especially important rules and bylaws you should be aware of:
Rules
Each infraction of a rule can result in a fine up to $50 per incident/occurrence
- You must wait for the parkade gate to close upon entering/exiting any of the gates in the parkade
- The speed limit in the parkade is 15km/h
- You can not litter anywhere in the building
- You can not add more than one deadbolt to your front door
- You must remain clothed and not changing clothes in any amenity or common area
- You must close any windows you open in any of the amenity rooms before leaving the room
- You can not prop any amenity room door open
- You can not use the facilities outside of the hours posted
- NO JUMPING in the elevator. If you get stuck you may be required to pay the service call fee for an elevator technician!
Bylaws
Each infraction of a bylaw can result in a fine up to $200 per incident/occurrence
- You can not use any of the amenities outside of their posted hours
- You can not consume alcohol in any of the amenities or common areas without Strata Council permission
- You are only allowed one animal (dog or cat) per unit without Strata Permission
- Your pet must be registered with the Strata Council by way of an updated Owner Information Sheet (available in the forms section of this website)
- You can not make loud noises inside your unit or one your patio that causes a nuisance or disturbance to others, especially during "Quiet Time" (from 10pm to 7am)
- You can not cause damage knowingly to any common area. If damage is done you can be held liable for repairs
- You can not add a satellite dish, blinds or lights that alter the exterior appearance of the building without first receiving Strata Council permission
- The Strata Corporation can, with a minimum of 48 hours notice enter your unit, unless there is an emergency and it is necessary to ensure safety and prevent significant loss or damage
- Any damage done in your unit that results in a claim on the "Strata Insurance Policy" will result in your unit being charged the deductible
- You can not dispose of anything from your balconies or windows, and this includes dusters, vacuum cleaner waste and garbage
- You can not leave garbage in the garbage room that does not fit in the compactor
