First off, remember these three simple tips:
1. The Building's Exterior Doors are Secured against BREAK INS. However, if you let people in through them, you are defeating the security of the building. So, if you don't know someone, DO NOT let them in.
2. You need to remember to lock your own front door - it's your line of defense.
3. You need to purchase home owners insurance.
Now, it's important to know what to do if someone follows you in a gate or a door. If you feel comfortable, we definately recommend you confront said person and ask to see their fob or ID. If you don't feel comfortable doing so, or they deny your request, please call Ben Aghai (604-522-9444) between the hours of 7am and 9pm or call 911 outside those hours to report an intruder.
